The once beloved NFL has fallen far from grace with the American people. We have gotten sick of watching them sit idly by.
Thursday night Denver Broncos player Brandon Marshall became the latest player to bow out and take a knee during the anthem. His protest came mere hours after Seattle Seahawks players threatened a team-wide protest for their game on Sept. 11.
These incidences were the last straw for many, soon after the #BoycottNFL went viral on social media.
If that wasn’t bad enough they shock us yet again by saying that they have intentions of boycotting the national anthem during an upcoming game, with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, September 11!! The anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil, what a serious slap in the face!
Usually, people see pride and honor as an outdated thing of the past, almost as if they are archaic values. It appears that this is what our country needs a lot more of, though!
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is a rising star among 9/11 truthers. In a 2012 meeting with retired four-star general Peter Chiarelli, Carroll pestered him with endless questions about “every 9/11 conspiracy theory you can think of.”
When Carroll was questioned about his fame among conspiracy theorists who think the U.S. government perpetrated the attack on the Twin Towers, he didn’t even come close to denying it.
Carroll stated “Any notoriety is good I guess,” “I will always be interested in the truth, yeah.”
These overpaid, spoiled brats are rising from the shadows revealing that they are about as anti-American as they come.
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane sat on his ass silently during the national anthem at a preseason game last Thursday.
He justified it by saying that he wanted to show solidarity for San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick, who refused to stand during “The Star Spangled Banner” last month, citing racial oppression in America.
Lane said he plans to sit every game during the national anthem throughout the rest of the season.
Linebacker Bobby Wagner said. “Anything we want to do, it’s not going to be individual. It’s going to be a team thing,” “That’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals.”
Several hours after the team announced that they would be sitting out of the Anthem on 9/11 receiver Doug Baldwin redacted the plans boycott. They must have received to much backlash from their “adoring” fans…
